HMS Victory is a 104-gun first-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, ordered in 1758, laid down in 1759 and launched in 1765. She is best known for her role as Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805.

She additionally served as Keppel's flagship at Ushant, Howe's flagship at Cape Spartel and Jervis's flagship at Cape St Vincent. After 1824, she was relegated to the role of harbour ship.

In 1922, she was moved to a dry dock at Portsmouth, England, and preserved as a museum ship. She has been the flagship of the First Sea Lord since October 2012 and is the world's oldest naval ship still in commission with 240 years service in 2018.

Well worth a visit to Portsmouth, it isn,t until you,ve walked around The Victory that you realise what it would,ve been like to be one of the crew, and appreciate how skilful the carpenters were back then👍

USS Wisconsin BATTLESHIP - Last Firing of Her Guns in 1991

Safety at Sea
USS Wisconsin BATTLESHIP - Last Firing of Her Guns in 1991 Historical Observers Report: "In Vietnam (Tet, 1968), we called for artillery once and asked for a regimental TOT as we were in danger of being overrun. We were getting very heavy mortar and rocket fire from a certain sector. A regimental TOT (time on target) is when an entire regiment of guns times it so that all the rounds land practically at the same time. I was told we were getting a battery one as everyone was screaming for artillery. Meaning one shell from each gun of a single battery of artillery. I went nutz on the radio until I found it it was the New Jersey. Dudes and dudettes, you do NOT want to be anywhere near the receiving end of that. After it was all over and Tet was finished, we went out to look at the craters the big guns had left. In the moist jungle ground the craters were from 60 to 75 feet across and about 20-25 feet deep. They had knocked down all the trees and bushes in a 200 meter radius and stripped the leaves off trees and bushes for about that much further out. After they shells landed, we didn't get any fire from that sector again for the entire battle. POWs we took after the battle said that everyone in that area had been blown to smithereens and nobody would reoccupy it from fear."

Man, I wish I had the money to buy The Flying Dutchman's vessel from Disney. I was shocked to learn they actually built it for one of the scenes in POTC

They did the same thing with the Black Pearl and the Queen Ann's Revenge. I would want the Revenge personally.

The Restaurant is Called "THE KING OF PIRATES" and it is located on Tokyo Bay... https://www.facebook.com/dd.kingofthepirates.daiba/ Apparently the video is better produced than the actual food (According to the reviews posted in English on Facebook, but the theme looks like fun, especially here in Gasparilla Land....
