What a glorious night! Thank you to everyone who came out for The Swashbuckler's Ball X! By all accounts, it was one of our very best! We would be remiss if we didn't call out a few folks who helped to make the evening truly spectacular...

Our sponsors! Thanks to Cruzan Rum, Kells Brewery, The Heavy Metal Brewing Co, BG Reynolds and Cascade Coil for making this year's event possible!

Our entertainment! Huzzah to The Dread Crew of Oddwood, Coming Up Threes, Biddy on the Bench, Bergamot Burlesque, Bilgerats & Pyrettes and Arden the Fiddler for keeping the dance floors packed and the party going until the wee hours of the morning!

Thank you to Spectrum Acoustics and DJ Switch for providing a truly spectacular sound and lighting experience on both the Quarterdeck and Locker stages!

The Portland Beardsmen stormed the Gun Deck stage and hosted the wild The SwashBeard Facial Hair Competition at SwashBall X!

Tankards raised to the Elks Lodge #142 (Milwaukie-Portland 142 Events) and the intrepid crew of The Scarlet Dove. Without the constant support and hard work of these folks, this event simply could NOT have happened!

Special thanks to Amy, Kenton and the entire staff of Ticket Tomato for once again making our ticketing and check-in system run smoothly!

Our hard-working staff has earned their shore leave. A toast to them and everyone else who has supported the Swashbuckler's Ball over these past 10 years.

Thank you all for helping to keep this ship afloat!

Glad I finally made one and the hype was worth it. Some great pirate friends and tooooppp notch entertainment.

Always a pleasure. See y'all at the next one 😉

Two-thumbs up on the venue 👍🏼👍🏼 it had great parking, access, and use of space! Thank you to all of you who put this event together, you all put together a top notch Ball!

i have gone to every ball and i have had a great time at each one. but i think that this location is the best one we have had yet. good parking, no going up and down stairs to outside. lots of seating, and the ability to different things gaming, a bit of shopping, competitions, eating, and so much more. i really hope that the ball can be hosted here again!

My friends and I had a fantastic time! I'm already counting down to next year. I thought the elks lodge was a great space for the event.

Such a great time

I don’t know where the heck that critter came from

A big huzzah to everyone who made The ☠️♥️swashbucklers ball 10th year a great success very well done great food music everything was quite lovely ☠️🎉🎊

Who won the tickets to Graemsay and Orctoberfest? Spectacular event!

Any pics Michele Maupin? Was this the one you went to?

Those in the know are well aware that Pirates be masters of acquisition AND distribution.

And in that spirit, we're still accepting donations to the raffle! All proceeds go directly to benefit Backpack Buddies, which provides food to the smalls in need. What better deed to feed a child what needs it.

To donate to the raffle, please promptly contact our coordinator by emailing [email protected] . Just a few more days to collect and then onward to the shindig!

Arrrrrrr ya ready?

Volunteers, we need you!

Let the call go out that Swashball has need of volunteers. We seek those willing to work a four hour shift, in a variety of positions. In exchange for your time, we're offering free admission (GA) and two drink tickets. That's right, entry and a couple o' drinks on the house for your time! We value our volunteers, so what say you?

Those who hesitate miss the boat, so contact us at [email protected] with haste and we'll get ya on the account.

I love volunteering for this, but I actually paid for my tickets this year, cause I'm bringing a new friend.

What kind of shifts are available? What times are folks needed?

What's the address? I cant find the location

Can’t get the site volunteer @swashbucklersball.com to come up.

I meant to email asking about this lol. And about photographers 😉 but it’s also Eric Coy’s birthday...lol.

Commenting so I can find this again. Gonna apply after work.

Do you folks have you photographer at this time?

Just a reminder, we are still accepting donations for this year's charity raffle, and 100% of the take goes to support this charity. This is a fantastic organization which helps underprivileged kids.

If you have items you'd like to donate, please email us at [email protected]'tis Giving Tuesday, and with that, we'd like to announce the charity we've allied with for this year's Swashball. The Milwaukie-Portland Elks Lodge Backpack Buddies Program.

"Backpack Buddies is a program designed to help children in need with food to take home for the weekend. For most of these children, the only nutritious meals they get are at school during the week. The food is sent home with them every Friday."

As many of you are aware, each year the Swashbuckler's Ball hosts a raffle where local artists, craftspeople, and merchants join with us to support that year's charity. They generously donate to support the cause, and we'd love to have YOU involved, helping to support this amazing program that provides for kids in need.
